About
Christine Oastler is a freelance travel writer, teacher and artist, currently living in Mahboula, Kuwait. Born and raised in Kingston, Ontario, Canada, Christine obtained her Bachelor of Arts at Trent University and her Bachelor of Education from Queen’s University.
With her degrees in hand Christine continued her education as she traveled the world’s oceans and seas, working on-board luxury cruise ships. From sky diving in Florida to swimming with sharks in St. Maarten Christine enjoys new and un-usual travel adventures.
After years on high seas Christine return to land teaching at an inner city school in Canada. Over time her “travel feet” started to itch again and she boarded a plane to the Kuwait and the world of international teaching.
Currently traveling around the Middle East she finds herself riding the odd camel and embracing a new culture!
