Energy!
Every country, city, town and adventure I have been on has had its own special energy. Some places make you want to dance. Other places inspire you to go on long walks on the beach or spend hours laughing at cafes. I don’t know if I can describe the energy of Kuwait. I’ll have to think on that one a little more.
When traveling you meet people who have different energies. At times people give you energy and at times they take energy. Putting someone in your life, even for a short amount a time, means that on some level you have chosen to give them the gift of your energy. Even when you aren’t with them they cross your mind. That act of letting them be important, if only in your thoughts, still takes energy. You never know who is thinking about you. What they are thinking about you and what energy and light people are sending to you. The flip side of that is you never know who you are taking energy away from.
Like a city that never sleeps energy isn’t static. It shifts, it changes and it grows. I am more careful of the countries I travel to these days. I am also more careful of the energy around me. Who gives to you and who takes away from you? Interesting questions on a day filled with so much fun and energy.
